Our Landscape Maintenance divisions have completed revegetation areas and streetscapes at The Reserve, Okura

Landscaping and Maintenance for The Reserve

The Plant People have completed this high-end landscaping and maintenance project for Todd Property, the developers behind The Reserve residential development. The Boffa Miskell design of the green open spaces optimises the contours of the landscape and provides the new community with an opportunity to enjoy this picturesque outlook.

Our landscaping team undertook the planting of the revegetation areas, streetscapes, reserves and entrance areas. A combination of virgin pastoral soil and The Plant People supplied mulch has seen a phenomenal result.

Landscaping is a mix of native revegetation plants supplied by our in-house Signature Plants Nursery and exotic specimen trees. Creating poplar-lined streets with large redwood specimens dotted in, linking the revegetation plantings and streetscapes areas.

The Plant People maintenance team have kept the project looking pristine with weed and noxious control, mulch tops, plant husbandry and general maintenance. The Plant People mowing team initially did the regular mowing, keeping the berms looking tip-top but this has now been subsequently taken over by the onsite caretaker.

About The Reserve

Occupying a north-facing peninsula at the top of Auckland’s North Shore, The Reserve is a 130-hectare luxury lifestyle development that is bounded by the Okura Estuary, Long-Bay Okura Marine Reserve, and Long Bay Regional Park. Secluded and surrounded by nature, The Reserve is still within close proximity of conveniences, with Long Bay Village 10-minutes away, and Auckland City within a half hour drive.

Each of the 29 lots have access to broadband fibre, reticulated sewer and water, and the whole subdivision is provisioned with automation technology. Smart street lighting, comprehensive CCTV coverage and gate automation provide the reassurance of privacy and security, while in-home automation packages are available when owners are ready to build.

Several lots come with riparian rights, and all owners have access to the foreshore via a private landscaped pathway that has been designed to accommodate small and amphibious craft.
