Our first H&S breakfast for 2020 focussed on the “Health” part of Health and Safety. Not only do want our staff to work safely and get home safely, we also want them to be physically, emotionally and mentally healthy.

Part of what drives The Plant People is our dedication to upskilling our workforce in areas that benefit the individual. Where an employee develops new skills, the company will naturally benefit too.
The Plant People hosted a breakfast on March 13 for our staff, to recognise their high standards in health and safety in the workplace. Our division managers were on cooking duties.
Alessandro has joined a select group of fewer than 3000 people across New Zealand by completing Site Safe’s Certificate in Construction Site Safety.

We strive towards best practise in all of our work. We are excited to announce that The Plant People’s commitment to Health and Safety has been recognised through the attainment of ISO 18001.
What a year 2016 has been! For The Plant People it has been incredibly positive. Our landscape teams have delivered some incredible projects.
Over 120 years’ worth of mowing knowledge from our team has been fed into the design of this self-contained transporter.
